  1. Guest room - think themes.   blues and white for beach themes   Blue is a calming cool color

For your extra room - how about for exercise equipment or an art/craft room? take up oil painting ?  or a library with lots of books

  2. In order to pain a room the right color you need to examine the colors of the furniture and the furnishings that will be placed in the room. Especially the fabrics. A good technique for bedrooms (especially small ones) is to pain three wall with a light neutral color and use a darker, strong color on the forth wall. Usually the wall behind the headboard of the bed. You can examine the colors of the bedspread or the curtains. If for example you are going to use a bedspread with main color ivory and secondary color (the color of the pattern details) brown, you can paint 3 walls ivory and 1 wall brown. Search in the web for photos of rooms that can inspire you and remember that as long as you are happy with the results, there is no wrong color. Good luck!

  3. paint the main wall a light/pale/welcoming green and the two walls on both sides a light peach, and if possible the one wall left should be white, it sounds odd but its really a great combo!

  4. Go to the benjamin moore site  Linen is a great color goes with almost every other color

  5. nice beige, sea foam greens, pale blues etc, are intended to be very calming, realxing colors, if you are up for that it should be great

  6. blue
