  1. White

  2. I think you should use white, since it's a good combination with any color.

But if you think that's too cliche or boring, you could try a darker shade of blue.

  3. Dark blue, Brown, black, reddish brown or most any shade of red would look good. Mostly it'll come down to personal preference. Go to a paint store and look at paint chips of different shades against your house color.

  4. White would match perfectly and would bring out the light blue, or you could try using a dark blue, which would also look nice. If you don't like those two colours, you could always try any other colour of wood that you like - it should also look very nice with the house

  5. Some of the possible answers to this question depend on some additional information such as roof color, location and orientation to the sun. If you have a black or charcoal roof, you can successfully use black or white. My inclination because you mentioned that the color of your house is quite light, is to go with white. A darker color on the shutters will simply wash the delicate tones of the light body color right away. Outdoor lighting is the most powerful and tends to exaggerate contrasts and make colors generally appear 1-2 shades lighter than they do in the paint store. Combine this with big contrast of dark shutters and you will wind up with a house which looks white. Be careful if you choose another blue for the shutters, you will want to make sure that it has exactly the same undertone as the body color if you are going to not introduce too much contrast. Your eye will read the different undertones as a mis-match. If you have vinyl or vinyl clad windows and trim, then your white must be a crisp blue-white one. If you have paintable windows, try a softer bone white for trim and shutters. It will make your house look bigger and your windows more important. Good Luck!
