What color t is needed for a printer that uses a black HPink jetet?

Are you asking why you need to have color ink in your printer when you are only printing black and white or are you asking which ink cartridge you need to purchase.

1.  Some printers use some "color" ink to print black so that they don't dry out from lack of use, hence there has to be ink in them to print.
