What color would you associate with war other than red?

It's for a school project. I know red makes sense because of bloodshed but I already used it for something else. I can't think of one that would seem obvious other than that. If you can think of a color please explain why it could be associated with war.

  1. I'm guessing like a camoflauge/hunter green, you know?

    ~A

  2. Black because it's the color people wear at funerals, and in war there are usually many deaths.

  3. How about a rainbow? . . .

    Example:

    Red = blood . . .

    Black = oil . . .

    Green = money . . .

    Yellow = cowardness = Osama Bin Laden  . . .

    Blue = Sadam Husien who blue it by

    thinking he was indestructable . . .

    White = the white house where boy George

    hides out playing war video games with

    d**k cheney . . .

  4. camo, or like dark: like brown.

  5. Black, Brown, Army Green

  6. Gun metal gray

  7. How about black and grey? cause they express sadness together..

  8. I would say black.  Because this war is so evil, and sad, and unnecessary.  When I think of why we are over their and how we have been lied to, all the blood shed and innocent lives that are being taken, children and mothers, it makes me so angry.  War is never a pleasant thing but this one in particular seems very dark and very wrong.

    Thats my opinion, and I know that alot of people will disagree with it.
