I don't know what color to call my mule..

And I don't know what color call my sisters horse.. he is a tennesee walker. He looks almost chocolate.. he had some gold throughout him earlier in the summer and now he is dappling. Sorry about the pictures.. I know they suck! =]

They are both brown, or liver chestnut.  And for everyone else, there are a bunch of pictures there, and the quality on those is fine.  Check again and see if you can find them!

pictures aren't the greatest for telling color.  they could be anywhere from brown to black.

Well of course he is brown but he is dappling and thats good. Shows the horse is healty and being fed well. My palominos, chestnut halflingers dapple on their own.

The mule is just a plain brown mule and your sisters horse is a liver chestnut. Horses dapple when they get fatter. There is more grass in the summer so he got fatter and hence, he dappled.

the mule looks like a dark bay or brown and the horse looks like a liver chestnut with a slite flaxen mane..a flaxen mane is common in "racking" type horses.
