What colors are considered deep rich colors for decorating a bedroom?

I've found out about what earthy tones are, but, I'm having problems on finding what the; deep rich colors are.:( What type of magazine; or type of book should I be getting to find out about these colors for decorating a bedroom?

Go to Lowes or Home Depot paint dept. They have lots of paint chips and idea booklets. Deep rich tones of brown, burgundy, olive green, bronze, copper, etc. Use the deep tones in your fabrics and a rug. For the wall color it is best to come down a few shades.

For my own.. I chose a silvery medium green... and a large headboard of brazilian cherry pigmented wood..    I used a very large door purchased from HomeDepot which had nothing drilled into it , nor had it been stained.  It didn't cost much.  I stained it myself and then onto each end ( side ) i applies a nice purchesed shelf  and also above those I drilled holes for and attached two electric lights to use for reading.  The bed itself is simply a king size bed resting only  on a frame with a tailored bed skirt which hides my boxes underneath I use for storage.
