  1. the mare looks chestnut and the foal cremello

  2. Mum is a chesnut or strawberry roan and baby is a  palamino i think

  3. I know both the mare and foal in this picture. The mare is a palomino and the foal is a lovely cremello filly, Amberfields Ice Fantasy, now owned by PLF Morgans in Ohio.

  4. the mare is a golden palomino and the foal is a cremello. the mare CAN'T be any color other than palomino, cremello, or buckskin to produce a cremello foal, so that would make this mare a dark, sooty, palomino. call her whatever shade you'd like, but she's a palomino. the foal is a typical textbook cremello

  5. Mother is a dappled chestnut and the foal is a palamino no doubt.

  6. Momma is a chocolate (or dark) palomino and the foal is a cremello.

  7. Mom looks to be a dark palomino, while the baby looks to be either Cremello, or Perlino.

Just a note, that other colors than the few mentioned by one poster can have palominos.  Sorrels are usually a staple in every palomino breeding facility for one example.

  8. hm, i think the mom looks like strawberry or red roan ?

and the baby... cream ? im not sure what that colour is called

  9. The mare looks like a sooty dun color to me and the foal is definitely a palomino.  If the mare is registered, what do her papers say?

  10. the big one is definatly a bay, the little one most people would call a white, but it is considered a gray, i dont know y!!!!  it bothers me, cuz they look white, but arent called white!!!

  11. baby is white.. because it has pink skin..

the mom.. id guess red roan

  12. the adult is a dark chestnut it looks like and the foal cremello

  13. I'd say a roan or bay for the adult one. Hard to tell since you can't see the full body.

Baby would be cremello, I'd say.

    Maybe even classified as white!

  14. Wow, interesting answers.  I don't think people know much about their horse colors.

Mom is a palomino--I don't think she's quite dark enough to classify as a chocolate palomino.  She is palomino because her mane and tail are lighter than her body, and are a cream shade.  Sorrels, chestnuts, roans, and bays (colors other posters have mentioned) are not colored like this.

And baby is a cremello because his coat and mane and tail are all the same color, are light, and he has light skin and light eyes.  If it had dark skin and dark eyes, it would be a palomino (isabella palomino).

  15. I'd say the mommy is either chestnut or roan, and the baby is palimino... hope this is correct!

  16. The foal's a cremello while the mare's a silver dapple, a very unusual color for a Morgan.
