What colors to do the whole house?

hi there guys i am due to move in a couple of months it will be my first home as i am a single parent my pennies are gettin spent else where. so i am just wonderind wat colors peolpe think i should go for. id really like a white sofa in my living room is that such a good ide ?????????

White Sofa with kids? Wait till They are all grown.  As for the house?  I would paint it white for now.  You can get five gallon buckets cheap (You say You're on A tight budget).  As You get Your new furniture, and settle in the home for a while, You will probably know better what will work.  It's easier to paint over the white walls too.  Congrats on Your new Home!
