Question:

What colors will go with Mint(Honeydew) and Silver?

Here is the dilemma: I would like to change the color of my Maid of Honors dress. As of now all of the girls are wearing strapless tea length dresses in honeydew, however, because the store didn't carry a nice looking silver my Maid has another style dress but in the same honeydew color as the girls. I really want to set her apart but I can't think of any color that will compliment the Honeydew that won't clash. Any suggestions?

  1. Pale orange (like cantalope)

    Pale pink

    Pale purple

Basically, any color that's pale too.

    Is this the type/color ? http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_...

If so, I would say that the Lilac, Canary or  Capri.

Do youhave a theme? If it's a beach theme, then the Capri would be good. If it's more of a springy/flower theme, then the lilac would be good. If it's more summery, then the Canary would be good (like citrus colors).

Then, you could either leave the dresses plain, have them wear the opposite colored sashes/ribbons (like have your MOH wear the honeydew & the others wear the other color), or, to tie in the silver color, you can have them all wear silver one's.

By nice looking silver I assume you mean the pewter shade? I hear ya on that ! I was debating having my MOH in that color (with a watermelon colored ribbon) but just couldn't bring myself to make her wear a dress that's that color.

  2. As skye said, soft lilac, or a soft yellow, or soft pink.

  3. I would be inclined to go a really soft lilac. If you choose anything bold, she might end up ooking like a fruit tingle lol :)

  4. I used lilac, honeydew and coral for my wedding and it was beautiful.

  5. I think a teal green, dark green/holly green would be terrific.  You could use dark green leaves in the bouquets - very natural looking and would certainly compliment the silver and honeydew.

  6. I think that peach (coral) would look gorgeous with this type of green.

    Good luck and congrats!

  7. lavender or chocolate brown

  8. Any sort of pale pastel-y color would probably be nice. If you can try other stores, I do think silver would be very nice.

Or maybe a coral-y pinkish color, would be very nice.

  9. mid chocolate colour would contrast lovely and not look to wishy washy

  10. mango/orange

  11. Anything in the peachy/light orange/medium pink family. Think other citrus colors - light lemon yellow, soft orange, grapefruit pink.

  12. alot of colors will go well with that green.

try pale shades of yellow, pink, lilac, or go more dramatic with black or chocolate

  13. a light purple would be nice

an off white with a honeydew sash

grays are in the same color scheme as silver

do the honeydew int hes ame dress but have her wear different shoes and jewelry to be set apart

  14. i know your source.....
