What colors would go nicely with navy blue duvet? It's for a 28 yr old man. I need to make the bed look nice.?

nice contrasts with the pillows and such. I'm thinking dark beige, but that seems so boring!

Think in terms of color scheme vs. color.  

For example, a tan color (you mentioned dark beige) is on the right track, but consider a bold third color like red.  Orange is another great bold color to use with navy blue.

Shop around in the bedding section of any department store or home good store.  See what throw pillows have navy in them but also other colors.

i would go with tan and white.  very clean looking, but neutral.

Sand and coral mixture.  It will add a real nice contrast and give you more colors to work with in the room.

First thing I thought of was kakhi, tan or beige.  I think it'd really be masculine but yet adding a diff color at the same time.

Personally, I think navy blue is a terrible colour.  I'd be more inclined to go for the dark beige!  Black is very in at the moment, and much more flexible to co-ordinate with.
