  1. How about black and white damask napkins with turqoise accents? I do graphic design, and I sometimes make wedding invites....it could be really pretty having like a turqoise and black theme with damask throughout. Depends on your style though.

  2. coral pink would be really sharp!!!!

  3. Pink, green, and yellow are all colors that come to mind.   David's Bridal has like a ton of different colors for BM dresses. The guys could wear all black or have matching vests with the girls. Black seems really dark for a table linen for a "spring" wedding.

  4. aqua blue or bold yellow (First I thought lime green but you can get your green from your flower stems and other plants)

  5. Pinks/Yellows. Any kind of bright colour - I am going to say Summery (I know it is a Spring wedding) because Spring comes, the flowers and trees blossom. I think against black, yellow looks beautiful. Maybe a pink or orange to go with it?

What colour are your bridesmaids? Maybe you should match with them! If you havent decided yet, choose your favourite bright colour and then have your bridesmaids dresses in that colour. Have that colour on the tables too, with a hint of others to highlight it. Have the groom's tuxes as black to match the linen (and it looks uber smart) and then have their vest underneath (waistcoat) to match the bridesmaids and main colour on the tables. Good luck!

  6. I agree with Smarty, I would personally pick green and pink to go with the black, I would even consider polka dots.

But I will have to tell you, the last wedding I went to was black and white and light silvery blue. It was truly beautiful. The bride wore white with blue crystals embroidered on her dress, the maids wore black with blue trim, and the groom a black tux, and a silver blue tie. She carried that theme through the wedding and reception: menu cards, programs, even the favor was blue. It was a blue fortune cookie in a clear box. Cute.

  7. Do you have to use the black line? If it's at all possible, it might be a good idea to choose another color you like. Every one else is telling you to use light/bright colors, but the only reason they are doing that is to make it cheerful-since you picked black. The truth is though, if you pick a pastel or bright color to cheer up, it will not flow well, because they will most likely just end up clashing badly with the black. So if you can, it may be a good idea to choose a more soft, mutual color. Maybe white, or cream, or a nice color you like that matches with everything. Then you can't go wrong with the trimmings ;)

  8. A light colour that contrasts the black would look good. What's your favorite color?

    One suggestion is lavendar.

But any pastel sort of colors would look good against a black background.

  9. Any light color will do.  Personally, I'd go w/ light pink and a light green, but that's just me.
