  4. There are lots of different kinds of kangaroos and their colours differ.

    The two main sorts that you're likely to hear about are the Great Grey: Macropus giganteus – which is, well… grey. A very pretty colour that merges with the evening and morning times that they are mostly active.

    The Red Kangaroo, Macropus rufus is the other big one that you're likely to see about the place in pictures. As the name suggests, they are a red colour, but only the males. The adult male is a red/orange, the colour of the earth where they mostly live. The females are a dusty blue and are called blue flyers because of their speed.

  5. It depends on the kangaroo. They tend to vary, because of their surroundings. Example: Red kangaroos are tannish red.
