What colour are your fingernails painted right now?

Question

I am going to paint mine white and put blue glitter dots all over....I use a toothpick to make the dots. I just want a few more ideas of easy designs or to see what the majority is wearing. A tenner for the best answer. Have a good day from Sandy.

Baby pink like natural fleshy colour.

They look quite pretty atm actually.  Could do with another coat like :-D

Hmm yeah using a toothpick to make the dots is good. Or you could do 1-2 coats of a solid color then like 1-2 coats of sparkles on top.

My nails aren't painted anything right now mostly because I haven't had the time to do it :p

mine are clear but shiny because i put a strengthening base coat on it. but my mom has french tips with pink and blue stripes on it. its realllllyy pretty!

stupid acrylic nails made my nails all crappy so i have to put that nail polish on untill they grow out!

Clear with the remnants of the powdery pink stuff from when I had French tips put on.

Checkered Nails (I have done them myself)

You'll need:

Clear Nail Polish

Black Nail Polish (Feel free to switch colors)

White Felt Tip Pen (Again, you may switch colors. I bought the pen at a craft store)

This takes about half an hour to accomplish.

-Paint your nails a clear coat. Let it dry.

-Paint your nails black (Or the color you choose)

-Draw a checkered marking in on your nails with the pen. Try to get four rows vertical and three horizontal.

-Fill in every other square with the pen.

-You MUST wait for the pen dry completely, or the colors will smear into one another.

-Once it has dried, apply another clear coat over it.

You can easily do polka dots or draw on a flower using a toothpick. You can try a black french manicure. (Black nail, white tip) for something different. Paint half of one nail blue and half of the other pink. (Change as you see fit) They can all be different colors, or every other nail a combination of two colors. There is really a lot you can do. Be creative!

Hi Sandy; I would use the gallery menu for the 13 pictures of wild nail art for some ideas. I especially love the orange creamsicle with the straight lines which looks very hot. Or you could do criss crosses with blue, or a french manicure with a dark tip on a light colored nail.

for toes and even fingertips I would sue the www.toerrific.com web site to find simple ways of using your nail polish brush to create simple and creative designs. The lady bugs are cute with the red black dots especially if you have matching flip flops. Hope that helps. xoxoxo

I use the toothpick idea too!

How good is it!

Atm, mine are hot pink, with flowers.

to create the flowers i do one dot of blue with a toothpick, in the middle or to the side of the nail..

then after that dries, i do a few little white dots around the outside of the blue.

the colors really stand out, and work well together.

The polish helps my nails grow quicker and stronger. Need them to be in top shape for when school starts.
