What colour braces WONT make my teeth look yellow?

Question

i found out i'm gettin braces soon =S (my teeth arent crooked, i have that crowded teeth thingy)

i wanted to get glow in the dark braces, but i looked at some questions on Y!A about them and people were saying that the glow juice turned there teeth yellow.

If i get clear, it might make my teeth look bumpy, and if i get white, my teeth will look yellow by comparison.

i might get blue, but i was wondering what a good colour for braces i should get. also, do different colours cost different prices?

has anyone had past experience with glow in the dark braces or any other colours?

any advice will me appreciated, smanx in advance

Blue will automatically make white look whiter, so try that. Dunno about the glowy stuff tho, and when I had my braces they didn't make me lisp, but the retainer after ward did until I got used to talking with it in.

I have braces and no i don't have a lisp. I speak perfectly well. and i always thought that any colour wuld make my teeth look more yellow but they dont. i have black and red atm because my orthodontist was a bit of a g*y and gave me 5 seconds to choose. dont get lilac because they turn greeny yellow. so do most light colours actually. I chose darker colours as they contrast more with my teeth and make them look more white. Hope this helps.

I would get silver and then just change the band color.

And no, you shouldn't have a lisp

the lispyness depends on like what your teeth look like and what position theyre in. i had some pretty jacked up teeth and i only got a little lisp.

but be warned- the first week of braces suck ***. dont expect to be even eating a sandwich.

and as far as colors go.. get black, or green. but you can change the colors every time you get them tightened. it's just the rubber bands that are colored.

well...never wear yellow...EVER, and no they dont give you a lisp...you get used to them

lol no you already paid for the doughnuts (tht is wut they are called) wen you got braces. they are needed to hold your wire on the brackets. i have dark blue but light blue and purple are good too!! medium pink and orange are good depending on your teeth.
