Well, of course they vary to there surroundings, but usually in an open space they will be usually a green or a brown, but in there surroundings they can change coulour

they are normally green but they camouflage into different colors when they protect themselves from their prey!!!

THEY ARE CAMOUFLAGE MEANING THEY CHANGE ACORDING TO THEIR BACKGROUNDS, SO THEY CAN REALLY BE ANY COLOR.  I USED TO HAVE ONE AND I PUT IT ON MY BED AND IT WENT FROM GREEN TO ORANGE IN LIKE 2 SECONDS! COOOOOOOOOL! THEY ARE USUALLY GREEN OR BROWN
