  1. Depends on the panther. Black, tawny, white, pink.

*Black panther, a black variant of leopard, cougar or jaguar

*White panther, a white or very pale variant of leopard, cougar or jaguar

The cougar (Puma concolor), also puma, mountain lion, or panther depending on region.....

The coat is typically tawny, but ranges to silvery-grey or reddish, with lighter patches on the under body....

The Pink Panther cartoon character is the main character in a series of animated short films.

  2. well it depends on where you live panthers are another name for cougars in which case they are the tan color, or they can be black and yellow  like the jaguar or leopard.

but if your talking about black panthers then they are obviously black

  3. Black. A panther is not an actual species - it's the name given to melanistic leopards. That is, leopards with an excess of the dark pigment melanin, resulting in a black coat (though the markings will still show up against the background in certain lights). Melanistic jaguars also occur, and some people refer to these animals as panthers too, but this is not technically correct.

'Panther' should not be confused with 'Florida panther', which is the name often given to the Florida subspecies of puma, though it is just as accurate simply to call it puma, cougar or mountain lion.
