What colour is best?

I have recently bought a dapple grey arab mare...sorry no pics yet...and i was wondering what colours would look good on her...i was thinking maybe aqua or purple...but im not sure lol...any suggestions?

Both of those colors are probably your best choices. Any color works for dapples though! But in my opinion purple is better than aqua unless its a very vibrant aqua because the blue may blend in more with the coat. Vibrant colors really look good with dapple so Neon bright purple or aqua will look fabulous against her body! Have Fun!

I have a grey hannoverian horse. And all his tack is aqua. It looks really amazing. Thats my oppinion. Hope you decide on the colour. AND good luck with the new horsyyy!:D

hi there i have a dapple grey QH mare and she looks great in purple,pink,lime green,blue,aqua well almost everything but red so your dapple Grey should suit those colors my mares main color is purple she looks great in purple hope that helps :]

Greys are very versitile. Purple looks great on them, so does silver. Black stands out so I don't think you should use brown tack.

Depends on how old you are.  I like a sophisticated look myself and would go with a black leather halter with a shiny chrome name plate.  

If not, red nylon would really pop against the gray.

Red looks amazing if done well. I have seen 2 dapple greys with red browbands (riders with red stocks,etc) and it looks superb and extrememly classy. But it is important that you like the colours, as it's your horse! Good luck, I'm sure she will look gorgeous no matter what you choose.

Is she a dark grey or a lighter grey? I personally dont own any greys but I work with two (a darker and a lighter) the darker greys look great in almost every color! I like personally like darker colors on darker greys! On lighter greys light colors like aqua or purple would be stunning! I also like black on every color of horse even if it is kinda boring! Any colour looks good on greys! I know this is probably not what you are looking for but I cant really think of a certain few colours. Aqua and Purple would look good too

any colour except 4 black n white. i have a white pony and purple looks real good on him :)

I think purple would look good. Greys can pull almost anything except yellow off! Hope I helped!

My grey mare looks good in any color, but boy do jewel tones pop on a grey.  Purple is my favorite.   I like black as a accent color.  Black chaps never go out of style

PURPLE!!! Purple always looks good with grey. Some grey race horses I used to look after looked stunning in purple.

Also my grey cats have purple collars, harness and leads. Grey and purple just go.

yup - almost any colour looks good on a grey!!! def a light blue or a strong emeald green!!

I also like light blue on my horse, but for you, purple would probably be my first choice.

i always used dark bottle green on my grey boy..in the olden days, way back - before horse stuff came in Purple !!. Purple would look totally cool too :o)
