What colour of eyeliner is best for a fair complexion and brown eyes?

I have tried black and it doesn't look nice at all

Brown for neutral as it will be softer than black

but if you want to be more adventurous go for purple or gold or silver (maybe even glitter)

Hi I'm a Max factor consultant and the best look for you would be either a brown or charcoal grey it just takes the edge off so its not too hard but but black would lok fine for the evening jjust make sure the line isn't too thick if under your eyes. Hope this helps

i have hazel eyes and i think black eyeliner looks good but i want it to look more natural so i use brown eyeliner but not the liquid the pencil

I'd have to say brown, or a very turquosey blue

A brown is quite good but i have brown eyes too and use this MAC liner in greenplay (olive green), powderplum (purple) and coco bar (brown) and i think those colours would suit you.

Gold maybe?! But black is most normal.

Maybe try putting less or more black eyeliner on than you tried, or try different types, e.g. liquid, pencil, crayon sort. Or try different brands of eyeliner.

Brown or brown/black, some ranges do different shades of brown..

I personally use eye shadow to line myeyes and put it on with a angled eyeshadow brush, it gives a less solid line and looks more natural, and in your case would be easier to find the right colour.
