  1. Goggles are better than sunglasses for skiing, but if you're determined to wear sunglasses, I presume they come with the same coloured lenses as goggles do. Orange is very popular as it increases contrast and allows you to see features in the snow surface. Others colours have particular uses for particular conditions - talk to the ski shop experts or go to goggle manufacturers' websites: Smith, Scott, etc. I use orange and am very happy with them.

  2. Yellow, orange, light blue, any bright color.

  3. Orange, Yellow, bright colors would be best.

  4. Yellow anti-glare

  5. Depends at night i perfer clear or a light green during the day i have a red. Iridium plutonite lenses with XYZ optics  from oakley are exprensensive usually around 130$ for the goggles with them, but theyll provide awsome vision in all light.  I usually keep multiple sets of lenses in my goggle cases so i can adapt to any light

  6. I think the orange ones are the best they reduce the glare and you can still ski when the light drops, dark ones make it hard to ski in low light

  7. yellow

  8. I Would personally have clear lenses as you could get ther full effect of skiing

  9. Persimmon lenses brighten up a gray day and are still dark enough for bright sun as well

Oakley makes a very economical goggle  (57 dollars) with the persimmon lens, I just got them and they are the first goggle I've ever had that didn't ever fog up even one time over a week of skiing

  10. glasses are not good for skiing. if you fall you can easily break the glasses and they can go in your eye... hurting you or make you blind. also if you are skiing there is going to be wind... from you moving down the mountain. when this wind come (which it will) your eyes will water... which makes it hard to see... and you could hit a tree or whatever else.

the safest thing to do when you are skiing is to wear goggles and not glasses... you will be more confortable with this choice and safer. youcan buy some really cheap goggles there is no need to buy the expensive ones if you are not a person who skis all the time. you can buy all sorts of lenses for goggles.

if you are doing night skiing i would suggest a rose colored lense... which works very well in the day as well (these are really nice). if you have sensitive eyes and are not going night skiing i suggest dark as you can get... it a little hard to see in low lighting with these but the snow and sun combo is insanely bright.

well i hope that you have fun and are same!

  11. Standard dark ones for when it is sunny. Yellow goggles for poor light.
