  1. post office red

  2. you say calming but vibrant

im not sure u can get both of those :P

tbh i think because of your darker funiture?

    maybe a cooler colour

i just painted my friends house a lovely colour

    its called almond white

    its really nice

i recomend you to have a look at it :)

  3. i agree, mushroom and aqua are fab. so this season.

i am loving it at my house.

  4. green

  5. a light sky blue or a light green. another thing that is always neutral is light tan/beige.

  6. different shades of earth tone colors.  different variations of brown.

  7. Avoid blues and greens at all costs with your furniture colours.  Pink is also a no no. I would choose a warm mid tone gold or pale peach.

  8. Duck egg a rich brown and creams

  9. What about one wall as a feature wall in a bold colour, and the others in a complimentary colour?  So maybe a golden yellow with paler yellow?  Or a deep burgundy, with pink shades?  The Dulux catalogue you get in the DIY stores was always a good source of inspiration to me.  Maybe catch a look in that?  Good luck!

  10. a cream with one wall chocolate brown

  11. deep cream!

  12. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "independent gold" (# 6401) would look terrific.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  13. go with either a light orange, a light almost white pink or a dark red almost brown!

  14. We did a feature wall in suede effect - ours is dark chocolate brown, but comes in many colours and looks really effective as is tactile.

There is actualy some very very cool wallpaper out there now too - I was considering this for a feature wall.

Aqua is calming and looks lush with brown I think!!!

  15. Go with a beautiful shade of gold or caramel. You won't be sorry.
