What colour would my red dun gelding look nice in?

I agree... blues and greens. Maybe burgundy!

I would say dark or neutral colors, such as:

Black

Hunter Green

Burgundy

Navy Blue

Tan or Gold

Brown

I honestly think Hunter Green or any type of Brown (ranging from tan to a deep brown) would look the best.  I hope this helps!

My votes are royal blue, bugandy, maroon, or for a nicer look, black. You have a beautiful horse, by the way :)

The suggestion of blue [navy, royal, light] is a great idea, but black would look nice if you want the classic look.  It'd bring out his eyes and draw attention to movements in an arena filled with brighter saddle pads.  I'd also suggest red, since it's an eye-popping colour and it looks great against a dun coat.

If you want to be bold, go for a purple, unless you'd rather not have a girly colour on your gelding. =]
