What colour would work well with cream for a bedroom colour scheme?

I've had my walls painted cream but need accessories like curtains, lightshades etc. which would go with the walls but give it a bit of colour. Any ideas?

It depends on your preference for color. Cream is a warm tone, so you can also use cool tones with it. Soft blues or most greens, some purples, and I like the suggestion of chocolate brown. any color really!!  You want something warm for a room though.  Brown, Maroon, Greens, Mustard colors, Purple.  Good luck!

I would go with a dark color to counter the cream.  Try a dark plum or red:)
