  1. fairies are chaotic little things and shouldn't be expected to hold to any one color for long. You should think of any current color as kind of a mood ring type of thing, be wary of bright vibrant colors in a fairy because they'll energetic and mischievious. on the otherhand if you're seeing fairies you're probably already in the muck a bit too deep.

  2. im pretty sure it depends on what kind of fairy it is u kno?....woodland faries are green...flower faries are pink/purple...water faires are foun on the shore and are blue/green/purple some are dark and evil some are angelic... hope this helps

  3. I always associated fairies with silver or irridescent rainbow transparency - sparkly sorts of creature s so oyu dont knwo if you are seeing flying dew drops caught inthe wind reflectign the sun rays.

    possibly too many faery stories as a child or walt disney.

    the sidh - irish faeries are green brown camouflaged .

  4. Everywhere you go your basically going to get the general color meaning but it's a little different this is just basic.

    Blue=calm

    Green= idk?

    Red/Pink=love

    Yellow=happy

    Orange=idk about that one either.

    Purple=normal

  5. I only know that the colour green is associated with fairies.  It's seen as their colour and people are sometimes superstitious about wearing green or driving a green car.  I couldn't find any decent links but here's a cute one http://www.flowerfairies.com/fun/fairy_f...

  6. Pink, because it represents calmness, love, and fantasy of little girls, like Barbie.

  7. Possibly green since it is the colour of the fertile Earth.

  8. the colors of nature really.

    flowers and such.

    Red:  Energy, Passion, Determination

    Lavender:  Romantic, Imagination, Fantasy

    Green:  Growth, Wealth, Abundance, Vitality

    Orange:  Happy, Courage, Successful

    Yellow:  Enthusiastic, Playful, Optimistic

    Blue:  Tranquil, Intuitive, Trustworthy

    Magenta:  Outrageous, Imaginative, Innovative

    Turquoise:  Refreshing, Cool, Imaginative

    Brown:  Stability, Earthy, Reliable

    Aqua:  Motivated, Active, Dynamic

    Pink:  Friendly, Compassionate, Faithful

    Light Blue:  Peaceful, Sincere, Affectionate

    Purple:  Spiritual, Passionate, Visionary

    Gold:  Illumination, Wisdom

    Indigo:  Knowledge, Power, Integrity

    Silver:  Purity, Protection

    Black:  Rebirth, banish negativity

    Gray:  Neutrality, Balance

    White:   Purity, Protection, Innocence, Virginity

  9. i'll go with black, as that usually denotes evil. the Fey are fickle little b*astards

  10. Thought it was the chakra or rainbow colours - mostly green for nature and hope, I'd say (Tinkerbell) though all the colours of the rainbow are possible.

    For the meaning of colours (as far as I can remember them):

    Red: life

    Orange: creation, fertility

    Yellow: happiness

    Green: hope

    Blue: calmness, rest

    Purple: maybe for flower-fairies (lavender)

    Green seems to be the prevailing colour though (hope, nature,...) but i've seen the others in statuettes and such too. Mostly also glittery - fairydust.

    Pink though, that's just a commercial thing - Barbie in Fairytopia was pink, I think, but generally in actual folklore I can't remember a fairy in pink.
