If you want gold like gold jewelry, try Michael's(www.Michaels.com. )  If you want gold for a room, try a paint store.  They can mix it to your taste.  Pick up a color chart for paints maybe there is one ready to pick.

If you want gold you have to buy it gold. Its not technically a color so you cant make it from mixing colors (ROY G BIV).

Yes. If you want metallic gold, you'd have to buy it that way.

If by gold you mean a warm yellow, then you'd want mostly yellow with a little bit of red and white. If you want more of a goldenrod colour, do the same but add just a little bit of blue and a little less red.
