What comes first chobits or Angelic Layer?

what came first chobits or angelic layer am gonna watch it but i wonder what came first so i can watch the second one after am done with the first one

Well angelic layer came out in 1999-2001 <-- 3 years

and chobits came out in 2001-2002 <-- 2 years

But id prefer to watch chobits

in the story chobits near the end of the plot, there is a mention of mechanical fighting dolls, which refers to angelic layer. angelic layer takes place in the story's universe first, and then the creator of angels (a.l) makes persocoms (chobits).

oh and angelic layer is first in real life too if thats what you meant
