The Philippines is notorious for its corrupt officials and low standard of living.

On the other hand, the Philippines is known for its beach resorts and bars.

At least, that's what comes to my mind.

Home, corruption and poverty, vacation spots

Home because I am a citizen of the Philippines

Corruption and POverty because this is the current state of the population of the Philippines and its leaders. We have not had a good leader until now -- starting from President Marcos

Vacation spots because we have tons of those here! One notable is Boracay =)
