What comes next? (i need help in pokemon Diamond!)?

let's see, i beat the third gym leader, then helped lucas, or the whoever the boy assistant is get his pokedex back from team galactic. after that, i went back and beat the next gym leader, Wave? or whatever his name is. so, i went off to beat the next leader, fantina, but i was informed she was MIA.

so, what comes now? how do i get her... or did i miss something else? i'm stuck. and if it has anything to do with those psyducks blocking the route, i need to know how to get past them.

I think you have to go near the Safari zone near the gym were "Wave" is at. There is a team galatic guy is standing near the safari. He'll try to avoid you and he'll run away but when you start chasing after him, you will be challenge by your rival unexpectedly...
