How's that for living in the past ?

I was a child in the 50s and watched many of the old black & white movies with my mother.  She loved movies with Barbara Stanwyck, Esther Williams, Dorothy LaMour, etc.  I finally remembered where I heard of Stella Dallas!  Had to look this up to jog my memory!.  Another one of Barbara Stanwyck's movies.  Very sad.  Evidently Stella Dallas was also a long-running radio show.

You must have an excellent memory.  I looked up Just Plain Bill and Pepper Young's Family and found out they ceased radio broadcasting in 1955, as did Stella Dallas.  I noticed many of these shows are available on DVD if you'd ever like to listen to them again.
