What comes to mind when you hear the name Danica-baby girl?

Danica is correctly pronounced "Dah-NEETS-ah." It is butchered with the incorrect pronunciations "DAN-ick-ah" or "Dan-ee-kah."This name, according to the Serbian script, is pronounced dah-nee-tsa. This is a very pretty name IMO. I love the meaning of it too.Danica is a star and it is also a name of a perfume. People with this name are kind of intellectual and honest. They're quite vocal and artistic also.

I don't personally like the name, but I do like your spelling of it.

I've seen Danika, Danicka, Danyka, Danycka and Dannica, but Danica somehow makes it more delicate, a little bit more feminin.

I don't think she'll get teased, it's not like you're naming her Pencil.

If you like it, that's what matters.

No matter what you name her, there will always be at least one person who doesn't like it. I'm not trying to bring you down, just trying to explain my answer.

I think Danica Rose or Danica Nicole would be pretty.

(Rose&Nicole are the middle names, btw)

I first thought of Danica Patrick, but she's cool so it's a good thing.

I personally love the name. I wouldn't give her the middle name Nicole because there would be too many Nics in her name. I like Danica Rose, though.

Danica -- Seriously Battlestar Galatica (sp) is the first thing that comes to mind.

And doesn't every kid get teased because of their name?  I can't tell you how many times I got called a-man-DUHHHHHH my whole life.  Or Amanda hugandkiss.

Danica Nicole sounds perfect! Elegant and classy name. Not weird at all and I'm sure she will not be teased. I think of a smart girl, very pretty and sophisticated also outgoing and lovable!

I automatically think of Fred Savage's girlfriend on The Wonder Years. I don't know anyone else who has that name. But every kid gets ridiculed for their name but she would be moreso because it is so rare. I'm not a fan of the name personally.

My best friend's sister is named Danica and she's never had a problem with anyone teasing her or making comments about it, in fact I've always liked that name. I'm probably the only one other than her brother who calls her Danica, most people call her Dani.
