What comes to mind when you hear these names?

names seem to give different people different mental pictures and I was just wondering what kinds of things come to mind with these names

Vera makes me think of a pretty 1800's authoress (that's good), Madison makes me think of a spoiled city girl, Patience seems like a little bit of a frumpy prude, Vannah will forever make people think of Vanna White, Nina is a cute, playful girl who is carefree, Vida makes me think of In a Gadda da Vida (an old 60's song by Iron Butterfly), Meredith is basically the same as Madison, only brattier, Brooke dpesn't seem very feminine, but very nature-y, Callista sounds like a cross between a techno DJ and a greek goddess, and Madeleine is like the same as Madison and Meredith.

So out of all of them, I like Vera and Nina, in that order.

Patience- is ghetto

Vannah- Wheel of Fourtune

Nina- my old aunt

Vida- Mi Vida Loca (really stupid movie)

Meredith- i'd kill my mom if that were my name

Brooke- some dumb girl that lives down the street

Callista- the anorexic allie macbeal lady

Madeleine- nah it's alright but Madison is better

1 - A character from Coronation Street (a progamme over here set in Manchester and revolving around a pub - Vera just died too)

2 - An over-used name

3 - It makes me think of an olde English tea party name

4 - Prefer Savannah

5-Nina makes me think of Nina Simone and she was a h**l of lady :)

6- Vida makes me think of a hair removing product we have here in the UK (although I know it means Live/life)

7 - Meredith is one of my favourite names

8 - Brooke Shields/Massive eyebrows

9 - Ally McBeal

10- I love this name, but spelt Magdalen (so that I can nn her Maggie)

i like madison, brooke, and madeline they are lovely  patience is pretty but the baby has to grow up with it vera too old vannah is unusual nina reminds me of kids pro gramme on cbeebies vida is the mop Meredith just don't like callista a mouthful sorry but its my opinion but it is your choice what to call baby no one else x*x
