I'm thinking the woman's feet couldn't possibly be supporting her weight and the other woman doesn't look like she's holding her up very well :-)

I think blondie stepped on a bird. I can see the predator and prey image mentioned above. A hawk beak and snakes for hair kind of gave that away.

Life and death and also not to judge by first appearances.

Appearances can be deceiving.

The woman with the mask looks bad but she isn't.  The woman in white is causing death all around her.  

The butterflies are falling apart, the birds are dying or dead and the flowers, trees and apples are dead.
