  1. they r either getting distracted or they r afraid to ask when they need help


  2. peer-pressure, grades, the fact that their performance in school determines their future...

Classroom size, I think some classrooms are so big that students can't pay attention to the lesson and the more students the louder it is...the more distractions..Some students are afraid to ask questions and the more students there are in the class the more so that will be..they are afraid someone will think they are stupid or laugh at them...teachers can't adequately teach them.

    I think a lot of students do try but they have so much to learn and so little time anymore that it's all crammed together and they can't learn it sufficiently.. (I have been a substitute teacher for 19 years and it gets worse every year).

  4. If ur talking about general struggles then: peer pressure, desire to excel, taking too much stress or being a slacker, just having a dont care attitude and wasting time on things that harm them later on..

    If studies, then: Having improper studying habits, being unorganised, lack of self-confidence especially in exams, learning by heart without understanding the subjects..
