I am moving to Maryland in a few years, as my job is relocating to Aberdeen Proving Ground. I am starting to look at places to live, but am kind of lost. I will be starting a family by then, so a good school system is a plus. I love the water and would like to live near the Chesapeake Bay. We aren't rich just yet, so we need a community with affordable houses to buy. I am willing to commute up to about 30 minutes. Any suggestions?

  1. northern baltimore county has many nice areas such as towson, cockeysville, timonium, hunt valley, and lutherville. the schools in no bal county are very highly rated. you are 30 min from baltimore, 1 hour from dc, and close to many lakes, rivers, resevoirs, etc.
