I know that places like Cafe Press do this, but they are way more expensive than I want to pay.

What are some other companies that will do this cheap (ie $5/shirt + shipping).

You can buy a silkscreen machine.  Do it.  We made our own t-shirts with our own designs and it was great.  The ink did not fade.  DOn't hire someone else or you won't make a profit. /
