On-line  and  customer  service  is  almost  all  done  in  India  now .

The  major  corporations  have  contracts  with  them   because  employees  there  only  cost  about  $1  per  hour .

There  might  be  a  few  still  in  the  US ,  but  I  am  not  aware of  them .

FYI :  customer  service  call  center   is  NOT  done  on  cell  phones  because  the  audio  quality  is  too  poor .

customer   service  is  a  land  line  operation .
