What company makes the best interior paint?

The Behr paint that I have just isn't working for me.

I worked at Home Depot for a short time and out of their paint Glidden is better even though it is cheaper.  Behr also has some chemicals that smell really bad, I'm sure it's a lot worse for you.  Benjamin Moore is definitely the best choice.  The Regal Line used to be the best Benjamin Moore product but now that the Aura line has come out it has left all other paint companies in the past.  Aura by B.M. is expensive but it is worth it.  Most colors are one coat and it is self priming.  There are also low V.O.C.s, those are chemicals so it is better for you and the environment.  If you can't afford that go with the B.M. Regal.  Also if your very sensitive to stuff Benjamin Moore has a line called Eco-Spec which has almost no chemical and no odor at all.  I hope this helps.  You usually get what you pay for when it comes to home improvements, so splurge a little your home is your sanctuary.

I tried Behr andnot only was it sooo expensive it dripped and was tempermental--only dried well at a particular temperature.  I tried Glidden and it was so much better and not as expensive.

hi..i personally feel that crown paint is the best, followed closely by dulux..

in the case of paint, the saying " you get what you pay for" is true..

but if you are working on a tight budget and your walls are in good condition, i also recommend the paints made for wilkinson stores..very good consistency and coverage..

Pittsburgh Paints (or Monarch) is really good.  The quality is good, lots of shades to choose from, and the paint lasts a long time.

i like behr paint the flat that is washable. i have 4 kids and the smudges come right off

I don't like Behr for interior either. I find it too thick to use with a brush, but it has worked very well for me for exterior. Benjamin Moore is wonderful though pricey. I have used Ralph Lauren and loved it, but they have a relatively small colour choice, as of the last time I checked. I'm in Canada; one of my other favourites is the Home Hardware house brand, Beautitone. Haven't used Sherwin Williams as there's none sold around here but I hear it's very good.
