  2. Soccer and mountain biking are the country's most popular sports, so I believe that Nike coule serve this market very well and augment these already popular sports in Costa Rica.

    Pepsi would not be very good as this culture is not as familiar with carbonated beverages.  The tendency is toward more fruit juice based products and other unusual milk based driinks.

    Ford would not be a good choice as there is a large German influence there which leans more toward BMW or Mercedes Benz.  The people do not have much money there anyway, so a car business would not be a very prosperous idea.
