What compensation should be paid to a managing member of a real estate investment company?

Perhaps 1/2 of 1% of the amount invested .... max.   But i would have thought that you would be fully invested yourself so maybe you would work the first year for free just to make yourself indispensible.   The real money won't roll in until later so you are not missing much.
