What components do i need to hook up an amp and 2 subs to a 07 civic ex stock stereo?

I have a 07 civic coupe. i need to know what components i need in order to connect 2 subs to an amp to the stock stereo and where i can find them. any info will truly appreciated, thanks!

  1. a car stereo place would be best


  2. just see a specialist, especially if you have an "ex stock stereo"

  3. you need the proper size power and ground wires- here is a chart to help http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-9d7H... i go no lower than 4gauge (its more cost/time effective to go thicker in the first place in case you want to upgrade in the future)

    since you are going to use the factory radio you will need a "line output converter" to give your factory radio a set of RCA outputs to connect the amp to (they cost about $20 from places like best buy and/or radio shack, here's one http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/I...

    you will need a set of RCA cables, a remote wire, and a in-line fuse holder also

    if you buy a amp wiring KIT it will come with everything needed (except the line output converter), just make sure you get a kit with the correct size wires for your setup (some of the cheaper ones dont have the true wire size tht they advertise) here are some http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/G...
