Hi, first of all let me introduced myself; I'm Edgar and I've worked with Microsoft as a program generator. Unlike all the other people who answer this question and choose one of your options. My response is all, every single infection is bad and affect differently, some like adware, malware keep appearing up and slow down your computer. Others like hijacker, keylogger, trojan steal your identity. And the worm and pups are have to remove and crash your computer. Please if you have a problem with any infection feel free to contact me for help. & now I'm going to let you judge on which infection is the worst.

Keylogger

because it can record your passwords credit card numbers online banking passwords and everything you type and send the information back to the person who created it and now that person has all your passwords so its a piece of cake for him to transfer all of your money from your bank account to his or make large purchases with your credit card numbers.

It depends, if detected quick enough some of these could be barely harmless. but the one i think would be the worse would have to be a keylogger because they could get into everything of your's and it is especially bad if you bank online then your ******.

It depends on what you value most. If having what you type sent away to people would ruin your life by giving them personal information etc. then a keylogger is worst. If you hate ads popping up all over the place, then adware is the worst. you get the point.

but if you mean what is the worst for your computer's current OS install, i would say a worm is the worst because it eats up resources and destroys files.
