I use concealer from The Body Shop. There are many different shades for brown skin, and i found the concealer to work wonders! It covers up spots effectively, and being The Body Shop- it uses natural and ethical ingredients, and it costs around £8.50! it's well worth it!

YSL Touche eclat is really good, great at covering up blemishes or just dark circles under the eyes.

I use one concealer by Shiseido, but I would like to change for Helena Rubinstein's one, although they say that the best concealer is "Secret Concealer" by Laura Mercier.

Loreal wand is the best. all you do is twist the bottom and the liquid come out on the brush at the top. ive attacted a picture of it. PLEASE VOTE BEST ANSWER. Its £8 and lasts you 12 months

miss sporty clean and clear .. they sell it as powder or stick :] works well but you have to keep re-applying it throughout the day. its only like £1.50 from boots aswell :D gdd value ! hope this helps xx

Spots as in pimples marks, I presume.

With skin of colour, the best to use is a mixture of two concealer colours.

One more yellow based and the other more peach/orange based.

Why so? The yellow based is great in toning down any redness caused by the pimple. The peach/orange based concealer is best in toning down the blueness or marks left behind.

You can mix both the two different tones together to almost matching it to your skin colour. In MAC, the colour denotes as NC (more yellow) an d NW (more red/orangy/peach)

I cannot suggest the colour as I am not there to see your skin colouring.

The other thing to note is about the tackiness of the concealer. The concealer needs to be abit more thicker in texture, abit more stickier.

Example, an angry pimple is raised on the skin.

What happens is that the skin is irritated and stretched from the clogged pore and putting in more translucent, less thicker just looses its grip on the sore area.

A thicker, "stickier" texture will hold on to the skin better.

To apply, you have to mix the concealers at the back of your hand before dabbing the pimple directly with a concealer brush.

Using your ring finger, dab on the conceal area lightly to blend the concealer to the skin.

Finish with a sheer translucent powder, pat the brush containing the powder over the concealed area.

It's always foundation first and then concealer before setting with powder.

clinique airbrush concealer. Its £10 ish and you can buy it from boots, debenhams and any good department store. Also if your going on a ferry like p and o they sell it on their as well. Their are many different shades so just ask the assistant and see waht she/he says! hope this helped xxxx

MAC has good concealers, and I also like Benefit Boi-ing (which will probably only work if your skin is a lighter brown...look for it at Sephora and decide for yourself. Don't base it on the internet).
