  1. have your parents make an appointment with the eye doctor. they can reccomend the brand that is best for your eyes based on your eye problems. your vision might be getting worse if you are haveing headaches and your eyes are hurting. good luck. have fund in 8th grade!

  2. you should get the 14 day Acuve ones.

  3. Well, your eye doctor is the only person who can tell you if contacts will be suitable for your eyes.  When you go to your next appointment, share this with them- tell your parents first though.  Contacts are more expensive than glasses and require more maintenance (buying solution, rewetting drops, etc).

  4. I sympathise, I hated wearing glasses in school, but I was told to wait til I was 18 for my eyes to "settle" down.   Headaches are a sign the your glasses aren't the right prescription for you any more, have a new eye test done. contacts are great, a pain in the butt and expensive!    I have tried the gas-permeable ones (last 2 years, have to be cleaned), hard (worked fine for a while, but gave up on them as they hurt my eyes especially during hayfever season) and finally the soft ones, yes! If your parents are up for it I would reccommend the dailies (wear 1 day and then throw out), saves the hassle of cleaning them.   Tell them you want them for when you go out, special occasions, doing sport, etc,   You can wear them during the week too and see how you find them. hope this helps.

  5. Well, there are soft contacts that you replace every 2 weeks (They get mailed to you) and they are great for people your age.

My friend got contacts when she was a year older than you, and she had the ones I was talking about above. It took her two weeks before she could take the contacts out and put them in without a problem. I remember she was in the bathroom for 25 minutes trying to take them out, but most people don't have that big of a problem with it.

Contacts are a pain, and they are also a bit expensive for some people.

If you are getting bad headaches, you should talk to your eye doctor.
