  1. None, they are islands, with Greenland the largest island on the Earth.

  2. None. Greenland is considered the largest island on earth... and although Australia is larger, it is considered a continent.

  3. Iceland - Europe

Greenland - as of today, technically North American, although it has strong links with Euorpean countries, ie Iceland, norway and Denmark. this can easily be debated in either direction :)

although both of these are through technicalities, the above poster is right, their islands  in thier own rights:)

  4. Iceland, depending on who you talk to is consitered to belong to North America and Europe.

Technically Iceland belongs to Europe amd Greenland is consitered to belong to North America because it almosts connects to Canada.

  5. Continents aren't just determined by large portions of land mass, but by what continental tectonic plate they lie on.  Greenland is owned by Denmark, but it lies on the North American continental plate so it belongs to the north american continent.

Iceland predominantly lies on the European tectonic plate so it belongs to the European continent, though a good portion of lies on the North American plate as well.  You can actually see the split between the two continents and it gets larger every year.

  6. Iceland is an European nation.

Greenland, a Danish self-governing possession, is an North American island.

  7. Iceland is in Europe. Greenland is in North America.

  8. Iceland is part of Europe

Greenland is part of North America
