Can you clarify this question at all?   It is very difficult to understand what it is you are looking for.  

What contribution can be made by whom?

What kind of study is being conducted relative to school absenteeism?

Who is the subject of the study? (ex.  grade levels, type of school>>>>)

Who is the target audience for the results of the study?  This makes a difference in how you frame the answer.  

By contribution could you mean what value would such a study be?  Again this would need further information relative to the target audience, etc.

It just needs more thought and clarification  before people spend their time trying to help you.
