I'm saying, did you look for logic in Islam?

Did you look for peace?

Did you look for the 'spiritual experience' like hajj or something

Did you look for justice in Islam

What did you 'find' upon becoming Muslim, AND which aspect of Islam do you love, and which aspect appeals to you the most?

  1. THE HOLY QURAN

  2. yes ISLAM is logical as the KORAN comes after the evangils which comes after the torah...

peace as well, justice for sure

family integrity part wich i love best respect for the woman...

  3. Do you know what chocolate taste like if you never tasted it.  There is no right religion and no wrong religion but muslims show a lot of snobbery, ignorance, arrogance and supremacy over other religions.  Islam is no better than any other religion if you think so then you are deluded.

  4. because

[2:130] Who would forsake the religion of Abraham, except one who fools his own soul? We have chosen him in this world, and in the Hereafter he will be with the righteous.

[2:131] When his Lord said to him, "Submit," he said, "I submit to the Lord of the universe."

[2:132] Moreover, Abraham exhorted his children to do the same, and so did Jacob: "O my children, GOD has pointed out the religion for you; do not die except as submitters."

[2:133] Had you witnessed Jacob on his death bed; he said to his children, "What will you worship after I die?" They said, "We will worship your god; the god of your fathers Abraham, Ismail, and Isaac; the one god. To Him we are submitters."

[2:134] Such is a community from the past. They are responsible for what they earned, and you are responsible for what you earned. You are not answerable for anything they have done.

a muslim would never ask this kind of question..this question could only be asked by a convert,or none muslim

  5. What convinces you that there is a WRONG one?

It may be an ACE religion for YOU.

I believe that if I was God, I wouldn't cut off a good part of the population just for choosing a religion...especially if they're good people in the first place.

  9. i was born Muslim, however, i have looked at other religions..

i find that Islam is the right one for me.

SubhanAllah, and Al hamdullAllah, God is All-Mighty, All-Knowing!!

  10. I was going to convert. because I thought it is graceful and humble. because most teens these days are such disgrace. And I wanted to get away from this wild life. but then I relieze that muslims can be disgraceful too. theres muslim girls in my school who wears revealing clothings. and muslim kids in my school goes to clubs, drinks, party, s*x, and all other stuff. I relize that this is a hypocrazy. Muslims are no different than others wild people. I was goina convert, but i say to myself hey whats the difference, these are not graceful and humble people.

  11. islam blows with all the rest of the religions

  12. I looked for logic in the social aspect of Islam.  I noticed how much calmer muslim women were.  They were not there to compete with other women or try to get men to stare at them for some primitive form of self-worth.  For three years I hypothesized about hijab and the moderate behavioural segregation of the sexes in Islamic culture.

The day I put hijab on I cried tears of pure joy.  I felt like the atmosphere had changed.  Like I was swimming in hassanat, like I was walking around in a metaphysical haze.

Women no longer glared at me in competition nor did I feel competition with other women.  Men either ignored me or looked at me with kindness and respect.

The first time I saw a muslim man lower his gaze to let me walk was the first time I knew what respect was.

  13. For starters I did a thorough study of every major, and many minor, religions before accepting Islam.

Islam made the most sense to me because it is a practical teaching, based on human psyche, which is ever constant.  It isn't based on any culture or time, but is an ever lasting teaching.

Furthermore, the Qur'an, I found to be a perfect book without any flaws.  It has never been changed.  This spoke volumes to me as evidence of its truthfulness.

Then, as I studied the life of Muhammad (sa), I absolutly fell in love with this peaceful magnamonious personality.  Flawless in every way, this man was indeed the perfection of Prophethood.

Finally, Islam does not monopolize truth but recognizes that all Prophets were from the one true God.  To me, this was a powerfully unifying force.

Hence, why I believe that Islam is the best path to God.

love for all, hatred for none

  14. what type of question is this. ok if you dont like islam go to the right one mam.

  15. I love the proof it provides and explanations for so many of our questions, and also the simple fact that it is the truth. Btw, i like all people, was born muslim. People who say they converted to Islam are wrong, they can only revert for Allah tells us that the infants are born believers and those that turn out to be chirstians, jews... are converted to the other religions. Everyone is born a Muslim!

  16. i was boen a Muslim. and will never leave it as long as i live.

i jut feel like it beats any toehr religion and ye it is peacful. i guess its veerything that makes me a stronger believr.

  17. I was born as a Muslim and did not fully appreciate being a Muslim until my Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca last year. Before then, I was not a full practicing Muslim and often neglected duties. But soon after Hajj, I realized: Allah made me born a Muslim and that is something that I should be thankful of. I then started doing what I neglected before. I rediscovered Islam and did many extensive research. I repented my old ways and thank Allah for not letting me fall even deeper in the darkness. I saw the light again, and I am a Muslim and proud to be one.

One thing I like about Islam is its principle of equality. The brotherhood of Islam is something that may wonder Muslims ourselves. Islam is a religion where there are no racial or cultural superiority, bonding every man and woman together under one Ummah.

I studied the Quran and thought in wonder about the miracles that resides in its Verse. It may make the strongest man fall to their knees and start crying out for forgiveness. The Quran showed me that Islam is indeed, the true Straight Path.

The justice in Islam? Islam introduced rights for women which were long denied before the religion came to life. Islam uplifted the status of women, making them as important as men themselves. Islam gave rights that such empires long ago would never even dream of thinking.

Islam is my religion, and no matter how people perceive it to be, I will never cease to be a servant of Allah and will dutifully worship him till I breathe my last.

    May Allah guide us all.

  18. did mohammad bring peace? no he attacked app. 100 villages and towns, he killed the men and boys took all their belongings and sold the women and children on the slave market.    have you ever looked up where the hajj came from? the customs of the moon god and allat and their daughters were worshiped in the kaaba for 3,000 years before islam, they did  the hajj to the kaaba, threw stones at the devil, run between two mts., pray several times a day toward mecca and give alms to the poor. why not find out what sharia law is and tell me you found justice. now! would you please! show me wrong. best reguards

  19. All of the religions can't be right, but they can all be wrong.  Good luck with yours.

  20. I looked for nothing. I was looking only to to see what Islam is, because as a practicing Christian, I just couldn't believe that everything on FOX NEWS was accurate. So I studied Islam.

    I found logic.

    I found peace.

I found spritual experiences (not Hajj but more personal)

    I found justice.

I found a sense of calm. A sense of peace. Gratitude. I love a loving God. I love how Islam mentions other religions that will be accepted in Heaven....no other religious book says that. I love all aspects of Islam. And the part that says "He who comes walkign to me I will ocme running to him".... that appeals to me most.

Alhamdulillah I am now a practicing Muslim

  21. i am also born a muslim since i was toothless. i love the religion so peaceful and it is the right one for me. it teaches people not to do wrong things. we accept other religions. fyi if anyone doesn't know this it's one the the religions that wasn't spread by sword. if people didn't like our religion we accepted that and moved on. that is important as well. plus the Quaran is AWESOME. so thankyou Allah for creating this beautiful religion

  22. Freedom from suffocating and crushing societal slavery.  In other words, peace of mind and true freedom where I answer to no one except God.

    Alhamdulillah for Islam.

  23. Hi, I am a born muslim from Saudi Arabia. So, I really grew up learning about Islam and details. So, I had pretty good idea about Islam and I never doubted it.

But as I grew older, I started to find more logic on why Islam is the right path and nothing else. Recently, like a year ago, I read so much convert stories and I enjoyed them a lot and I learned a lot about my religion from them.

There were so much stories of converts to Islam and from so much different angles, each story and angle taught me great deal about Islam. You know for a person to convert to another religion he/she needs a very strong reason to do this huge step.

So, here are some of the angles in top of mind:

    - Scientific miracles in Quran

    - Islam respect of women

    - Logic and common sense, if you think deeply about it, if Mohammad wasnot a true prophet, he would not come at all with this current logic. He would have totally different scenario.

    - Islam and respect of other religions especially christianity

    - Islam and laws (there is a story of a professor in law who converted to Islam after reading the inherting laws in Islam)

    - Many stories are related to spiritiality

    - The way Islam is a balanced way of life

    - Makkah as a blessed city and discipline in Islam: there is a convert story of an ex army general who saw a picture of prayers in Makkah and was impressed by the discipline and organization of 100s thousands of people. So, he started reading about it then converted

    - Equality in islam

I would add, that the prophecies of Mohammad makes so much sense of todays world and if he was just a normal man, not a prophet, he would not ever say those types of prophecies.

For example, just imagine, Mohammad is sitting with his friends in the desert, between Makkah and Madinah, and he says: look, Islam will reach every city and town in the world (which is happening today), and you will be big in numbes.

If he was a liar, false prophet, he would say, Islam will win over every other religion, and will be so strong the whole earth is muslims. I mean for any liar, he would look for his life, or his sons and daughters life, he will give false hopes, just for the next few generations. Who cares what happen after that. He will say, we will lead the world.

But, no, he went totally the opposite: muslims will be big in numbers but so weak. (which describes muslims today) and all nations and religions will be against you (happening) .. and you will follow them, even if they went into a house of the lizard you will follow them (happening).

Same if you look into the signs of the end of the world: one of them is adultery in streets. Just think about the context he said that. In a very conservative society in the desert, and he talks that such horroble things will happen when judgement day is close, yet muslims are so strong.

For a moment, you would think they kinda contradict each other. But, they are precise description of today's world.

And if you think almost for any prophecy of the prophet, you will find a precise great description that is impossible to be from a normal man.

Also, if you look into the language of the Quran, if you take any verse, especially if you are an Arabic speaker originally, you will find a percise wording and description that cannot be just a man words.

The way the Quran was revealed as well, is another evidence. It is such a great book, and descended scattered in 23 years, and many of these verses were with certain occassion. If he was a normal man, he would have written the Quran, or prepare chapter by chapter, and reveal them.
