What cooking liquids are flamable???

I'm trying to be able to cook things then light them on fire with a lighter. what are the best things to use to achieve this???

And I know liquor works well

  1. Any oil or alcohol, although oil will result in an uncontrolled fire and lower proof alcohols will only light at too high a temp.  Use any liquor around or above 80 proof, which is the same as 40% alcohol content.  Proof is now twice the percent of alcohol by volume, but it was once established by pouring a shot of liquor over a pile of gunpowder and lighting it.  If the alcohol burned off and the gunpowder ignited, it was proofed.  If the alcohol burned off and you were left with a pile of damp gunpowder, it was not proofed (proven) to have a high enough alcohol content.
