  1. make them into a doona cover!

  2. Take upper half of one favorite and cut just below the breast-line, keeping collar and sleeves if any.  Cut the lower half of another favorite and seam the two together creating a new look and possibly a better fit.  This works well if everything works until you get just below the breast line, but need more tummy room.  The lower half can be light and flowy.

Be careful that the ones you choose have some ability to match either in the colors or patterns they contain, or by blending them together using a line of sequins or lace otherwise you could wind up looking like a clown rather than an "arteest"!

If the sleeves are too tight, cut them off and attach your own brand new ones.  If its too tight around the bust line, cut an inverted "V" in th back and seam in a triangle of funky design in the back.  That way from the front it looks like your old favorite but from the back, an exotic new design.

  3. A kite tail?

  4. The wife of one of my coworkers took all of his favorite old t-shirts (that she didn't want to see him wearing anymore because his tummy got a little too big for them), cut the fronts off of them (sayings, logos, whatever was on them), and made him a really neat quilt.  He loves it and is happy he didn't have to throw his old shirts out.

  5. I had an old sweatshirt that was too worn out to really wear any more. I sewed the openings shut and stuffed it with cotton batting to make a pet bed for an old kitty who had arthritis pretty badly.

Or if they're in far better shape, you might consider framing them, or using them in a collage-type of arrangement on your wall.

Or you could wear them anyway, but find a different way to close them, or give them to someone who can wear them.

  6. we took all my old harley t shirts squared them stuffed them and made a king bed spread out of them

  7. cut right under the arms straight across and sew that end up and viola a pillow case :D or also if you want to keep it as a shirt cut the sides from the bottle up to the arms and put holes on the sides of it and string ribbon or shoe laces through it and now you have more room and they tie up on the sides if you dont feel comfy wearing that around wear a tank top underneath it. like say the shirt is all pink with some brown trim wear a brown tank underneath it and have the ribbon match the shirt

  8. make pillows out of them, my aunt did it with old jeans..
