  1. It normally depends on what kind of camera it is.. I think your camera though will work with a usb cord.. It is a 5 pin cord at the end, with USB at the other end..


  2. If it's a MiniDV camcorder you need firewire.  Your camcorder may have a USB socket as well - that's just for transferring stills.
