  1. i know its not core but the best thing for pitching is long toss add sooooooo much velocity


  2. I'd say squat thrusts ... use 65 lbs (45 barbell + a ten on each side)... do a full squat, then fully extend the bar over your shoulders.  Essentially it's a squat and then an overhead shoulder press; and mimics the coiling and uncoiling motion of pitching.

    I'd also do wall tosses... take a 20lb medicine ball, do a full squat and throw it against the wall (about 15ish feet high) and catch it in a full squat.

  3. Bench press, and running to build stamina. You need to stretch the arms and drink plenty of fluids to gain flexibility. Most high speed pitchers 95plus can bench press at least 400 lbs. so get busy.

  4. get warmed up then throw about 80 or so pitches then throw lightly to let your arm cool down
