  1. you can work in a daycare setting

and you can teach in a school setting anywhere from preschool up to grade 2

to teach higher up, you will need to go to teachers college which is the process i am going through right now

  2. I've had that degree for 19 years now.  You can teach in a day care, private preschool, and you can be a para in the public school.  There is not much money to be made in the field, just to let you know.

  3. teach in a public school, teach daycare/preschool, run a daycare/preschool. When you have more experience in that field you can teach in a college setting.

  4. You could be a lead teacher or Assistant Director at a preschool. You could also be a Teacher's Assistant in the public school system.

  5. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education (SC) and I am certified to teach Birth to 4th grade.   If you want more, return to school and get your Master's in a related area and there are many more possibilities.

  6. Any child based job (under 5's) which requires level 4+job.

    So things like:

Children Centres-playworker, manager, family support worker etc

    Social care-family support worker

A Senior Practitioner in a setting

Senior project worker in settings such as prisons, hospitals...

specilaise in an area such as SEN or EAL or advisory.

The list could go on and on!

  7. Depends on where you are living.  Is your degree a CDA (child development associate) or is it an actual bacherlor's degree with an early childhood endorsement?

As others have mentioned... daycares...some have Kindergarten not just preschool.  If you actually have your teaching certificate... up to about grade 2 in public/private schools.  It would only take an administration course for you to qualify for director.

Have you considered in-home child care/preschool? We need more educated teachers/caregivers.

Before/After School programs as assistant, director, supervisor.

I know of an individual who works in a library...you may have to take a few library science courses.

You could check out Educational Community Action Agengies and similar...they have positions that are above preschool teacher but require the education.

Check within the Intermediate School District...I know that ours offers playgroups and home visits and the teacher is required to have a degree w/ early childhood experience.

    Substitute teaching.

    Good luck.

  8. It depends on the state you live in.
